This product features a safe environment to evaluate chronic diseases on up to 10 mice. Mice are free of movement between 2 connected cages and are differentiated using an RFID tag. A scale weights mice every time they travel from a cage to another. Mice are locked through a fixation system that allows behavioral tasks and imaging at the same time. 2 infrared cameras monitor the animals. This system allows for big data acquisition with reduced effort from user. On average, depending on many factors, mice achieve 30 fixations per day.
The system is compatible with most cages. Cages can be provided on demand.
