Fluorescence imaging

    590 nm LED with a 571 ± 36 nm filter and a 660 ± 26 nm filter installed in front of the camera. Cannot perform intrinsic and speckle imaging simultaneously.
  • 525 nm fluorescence – Item #35013
    525 nm LED with a 540 ± 40 nm filter and a 593 nm longpass filter installed in front of the camera. Cannot perform intrinsic (green) imaging simultaneously.
  • 567 nm fluorescence (R-GECO) – Item #35014
    567 nm LED with a 540 ± 40 nm filter and a 593 nm long pass filter installed in front of the camera. Cannot perform intrinsic (green) imaging simultaneously.
  • 625 nm fluorescence and Voltage-Sensitive Dyes (VSD) – Item #35015
    625 nm LED with a 629 ± 28 nm filter and a 685 nm long pass filter installed in front of the camera. Cannot perform intrinsic (green) imaging simultaneously.

  • The system is equipped with 2 fluorescence illumination drivers. If additional illuminations are purchased, only the LED and optics will be supplied. The user will be able to use a maximum of 2 illuminations at the time and can change illuminations in a few seconds. A discount is also offered after 2 illuminations.

Drop-in T-Slot Nuts (Item #33101)

  • Content: 5x M6 & 5x 1/4-20
  • These nuts can be installed in the T-Slot rails on both sides of the system.
  • Once installed, they allow the user to screw any hardware onto the imaging system, such as a monitor for visual stimulation or a custom-built enclosure.

Post Holder (Item #33102)

  • Can be installed onto both sides of the imaging system.

4" extension post (Item #33171)

  • Raise the imaging system arm by 4″ to accommodate larger animals or provide additional clearance.
  • Up to 3 extensions can be added.
  • Only compatible with systems shipped in October 2023 or later.

2X Teleconverter (Item #33051)

  • For systems equipped with the optogenetic stimulation add-on and dual camera imaging only. It allows changing the focal length of the bottom lens by 2x, offering a field of view 2 times larger. This is especially useful at high frame rate and limited ROI. 2 teleconverters can be attached for a field of view 4 times larger.

Magnetic Stand (Item #33151)

  • Can be mounted onto the ferromagnetic base of the imaging system.
  • Compatible with Thorlabs’ metric 12.7 mm optical posts (not included).
  • This item allows for easy positioning onto any apparatus, such as a whisker stimulator, a behavioral camera or our calibrated water dispenser.

Acquisition Software

  • Adjustable frame rate, exposure time, binning, ROI, illumination selection and stimulation parameters.

Generic Analysis Software

  • Generic analysis software and user interface in Matlab to open the data and display typical images and videos such as HbO, HbR and relative blood flow maps (only with the Speckle option). Open source for easy modifications for customers needs. Matlab software and toolboxes not included.

Focus Adjustment

  • A translation stage is fixed on the camera for systems without the optogenetic stimulator or dual camera imaging add-on.
  • A lab jack is included with the add-ons.

Height and Inclination Adjustment

  • Height can be adjusted by up to 13 cm.
  • Inclination can be adjusted by up to ±30 degrees.

Multiple Mounting Points for Illumination Arms

  • 4 mounting points for the illumination arms are present on the on the imaging arm. They move with the camera (height and inclination).
